The ring features precisely integrated hard stops at both focus endpoints. This makes the Sigma 18–35 behave as if it had real mechanical end stops — ideal for follow-focus motors.

Why this prototype is special
This ring was developed as a practical solution for professional productions and has been tested in real-world environments. Thanks to the integrated hard stops, you can attach your follow-focus motor at any position, calibrate it, and the motor immediately recognizes the precise limits — just like working with a true cine lens.

This is a fully functional prototype from our development phase. Visual appearance, haptics, or material may vary slightly from the final production version. It has not yet been tested with every available follow-focus system. If your motor is not compatible, an adjusted replacement will be provided.
